LINC MGM (Lead. Innovate. Network. Connect.) is a transformative leadership initiative that brings together high school juniors and seniors from across Montgomery to develop their leadership potential, bridge cultural divides, and build lasting connections. In 2025, LINC MGM became an official program under the River Region United Way, further strengthening our mission and expanding our reach.
LINC MGM was founded by members of Leadership Montgomery Torchbearers Class XVI, pictured below: Morgan Clausell, Brooke Foster, Aaleia Freeman, Isis Hunley, Olu Ogunbi, and Jameson Stephens. As part of their group project, they envisioned a program that would empower youth and connect students across Montgomery, fostering leadership, collaboration, and community engagement.
Our program is offered completely free of charge to students and their families. We meet once a month during the school year, providing students with hands-on leadership training, mentorship, and exposure to community leaders and local colleges. We rely on the generous support of community partners to make this possible.
