Nonprofits like United Way and various government agencies provide excellent programs to support people in need. The problem: The people who need these programs often don’t know they exist.
This is why the River Region United Way supports 211 Connects South Central Alabama, the 211 Call Center serving our local communities. By dialing 211, callers can be connected with valuable resources in the areas of financial support, health services and other basic human needs. Call Center Specialists evaluate the needs of the caller and connect them with the appropriate organization to help them address their needs.
